Description
The Forming Technology Laboratory provides state-of-the-art infrastructure for experimental development, alloy optimization, as well as preproduction scanning of the forming processes of extrusion, deep drawing, rolling and forging.
Main technical characteristics
The work we do includes:
- Support with forming processes in a technological and scientific capacity
- Addressing forming issues
- Manufacturing of demonstrators and testing of industry-grade forming products
- Feasibility studies to improve formability, particularly of high-strength aluminum and magnesium alloys
