IL-68 FRICTION MATERIALS STAND

Description

IL-68 tests stand allows to recreate phenomena occurring on friction surfaces of tested materials
simultaneously measuring and recording number of parameters characterizing of the friction pair
interaction (torque, braking force, temperatures, etc.). Also thermal endurance tests of friction
materials (e.g. brake pads) are possible.

Main technical characteristics

Stand specification:
Maximum drive shaft rotation velocity 9000 rpm.
Moment of inertia (adjustable) 0,154 up to 1,54 kgm (0,098 kgm step).
Maximum load on the surface of the samples specimens 5,88 kN.

Scope:
Friction materials wear,
Friction pair behaviour (parameters): Braking torque, Braking force, Temperature.
Thermal endurance tests.
