Single crystal manufacturing lab

Main technical characteristics

1- Max temperature 1200°C – Sample size D 60 mm x L 150 mm – Growth rate 0.1 mm/h to several cm/min. Example: single crystals for non-linear optics
2- Max temperature 2200°C – Sample size D50 mm x L 200 mm – Pressure from secondary vacuum to 15 bar (inert gas) – Thermal gradient 10-45°C/cm – Growth rate 5-50 mm/h. Example: ceramics and eutectic oxides for ultra-high temperature structural applications
3- Max temperature 1500°C (induction heating) – Sample diameter 8 to 20 mm. Example: nickel base single crystal superalloys for turbine blades
