For the eighth consecutive year, EREA is organizing an event focused on young researchers working in the EREA research establishments in order to help them better tackle the challenges ahead in Aeronautics research.
During this year’s event the young researchers were trained in how to write a competitive proposal for Horizon 2020 by Sean McCarthy coming from one of the leading companies providing training courses for the European researchers. 32 EREA young researchers attended the workshop, which took place in the premises of ILOT in Warsaw, on the 4th and 5th of October 2016.
The first day the workshop focused on learning how to write a good H2020 proposal. The second day started with tips and tricks on the evaluation of proposals given by one of the H2020 evaluators working at ILOT. Then, the young researchers put into practice the acquired knowledge with the evaluation of a successful proposal.
The workshop was structured in such a way that it fostered European and inter-institutional networking and building the basis for the future collaborations amongst EREA partners.
